“Oracle is the first halt in my career as a young grad.
I have joined Oracle in June 2011 starting as an assistant for the EMEA recruitment team. In December 2012 I was up for a new challenge: I became a resourcer in Market Intelligence Team and for one year I offered support for the graduates team. During this period I had the chance to be involved in different projects where I could improve personal skills like public speaking or training new colleagues. From December 2013 I began offering support for the experienced recruiting team covering mainly Western Europe.
I have a Bachelor Degree in International Business and Economics and a Master’s Degree in Geopolitics but I decided a career in HR would suit me better due to my ability to quickly empathize with others and interest in developing long term relationships. Now, after three years at Oracle, I am certain I have made the right decision.”
Ruxandra Custura
“I am a Recruitment Resourcer for EMEA team since December 2013, being my first full time job after spending one year at a HR consulting company. I completed my Bachelor and Master degree at Business Administration Faculty, English section, Bucharest. I began learning English when I was 5 years old and studied French for 6 years at school. But after a trip to Austria and Germany I discovered my passion for German language and began learning it in private. It’s been 8 years since then. My career in Human Resources began with an internship and then continued with a part-time job, helping me gain experience but also allowed me to focus on my studies. Oracle appeared in my life with an inmail and gave me a lot of thinking if I was prepared for it. But I took my chances and I don’t regret it at all.”
